According to the research of problem of data conversion from AutoCAD to GIS, this paper analyzes the characteristics of AutoCAD data and GIS data, and finds out the comparison relationship of graphic data conversion from AutoCAD to GIS. With the aid of the component libraries of ArcEngine and ObjectARX, the research implements the graphic data conversion using c # language in .NET environment, including point, line, polygon, etc. The implementation promotes the application of GIS technology.
